If you are tired of managing shared profiles one by one or have constant rotation of profiles in your folders, this feature is for you!

Sharing a folder

Granting a user access to a shared folder gives them varying degrees of freedom within the entire folder.

How to share a folder:

  1. Go to the main dropdown menu at the top-right

  2. Hit Invite members

  3. Type in your colleague's email for GoLogin account

  4. Select access to the folders you would like the person to get:
Can run — the user can view and run the profiles in the folder you shared

Can edit — the user can run, clone, create new profiles and edit the settings of the profiles in the folder

Full access — the same as edit but also can re-share folders

  5. Click Send invite!

Accessing a shared folder

In GoLogin, when you share a folder, you effectively share access to a part of your workspace. Meaning that when you share a folder, your teammate won't be able to see it in their own workspace.

So in order to access the folder that havs been shared to you, you need to switch to the sharer's workspace.

Switching between workspaces:

  1. Navigate to the main dropdown menu at the top-right

  2. If you have workspaces or folders shared to you, you should see the additional workspace in the list. Click on the workspace to access it.

  3. You are now in the workspace where the shared folder is. You can navigate to it just by clicking on the folder at the top of the window.
Note: if you've been added to multiple folders inside a single workspace, you can see all the profiles from them at once on the All profiles tab.

What you can see / change

You have access to the statuses, notes, tags and other profile parameters. You might or might not change them according to your privileges. The changes are synced between users, however, you will need to update the page by clicking on the folder name to see the changes.

Proxies in shared folders

You can see and change proxies in the existing profiles but you won't get access to the owner's proxy list.
