Running your profiles in the Cloud

One feature of GoLogin is the ability to run profiles not just locally via an instance of Orbita, but also in the cloud, using a remotely controlled instance of Orbita on GoLogin's servers, controlled through the browser of your choice on your device.

There are a few things to note, however, with regards to this feature:

1. Because of the bandwidth and server resources required, "Run in Cloud" is not available on the Forever Free plan.

2. When you are using the Web version of GoLogin at app.gologin.com - any profile you launch will always Run in Cloud. As such, due to note #1 above - if you are on the Forever Free plan, you will not be able to run profiles from the Web version.

3. Profiles that are set up for Cloud use should be created as Linux profiles, and it's best to not use such profiles cross-platform if possible (for example, it's best not to use the same profile for Cloud use and desktop use on a Mac computer, for example, as these two operating systems have different architectural specifics that websites may be able to detect).

If you use a Linux computer when working with the GoLogin desktop app, then the app will automatically create new profiles in the desktop as Linux profiles. If you use Windows or Mac, then you will need to manually select Linux as the OS for your profile during profile creation (see screenshot below). You must use the "Add Profile" button shown here - using the simple + button at the top of the profile list will not let you set an OS.
