Why does GoLogin show my profile as being on Win32 when I'm on x64, or MacIntel when I'm on Mac ARM?

If you use GoLogin on Windows, you may have noticed that in the Profile Summary, the platform is listed as Win32, despite GoLogin being a 64 bit application.

You can see similar behavior in the Platform field creating a Mac ARM (M1/M2) profile - the Platform field will still say "MacIntel".

Why does this happen, and what does it mean?

First of all - don't worry! The values in the Platform field are more for the internal operation of the GoLogin application, and this is not a sign of an error or bug - these are simply different types of "profile archetypes" in GoLogin.

Just because it says "Win32" doesn't mean websites will think you're running a 32-bit version of Windows - it's simply an internal flag meant to signify that the profile is a generic "Windows" profile.

Same story with Mac M1/M2 and "MacIntel".

You can double-check what specific OS your profile was created on if you enable the OS column in the Profiles view as seen below:
