Fonts fingerprinting stands for detecting the digital identity based on what fonts the user has and how they are drawn inside their browser. Websites mainly use 2 technologies to get your fonts list:
Measuring font metrics, which is close to the Canvas fingerprinting in the way it works;
Fonts list enumeration, which is done through the CSS introspection.
Website security systems cycle through the list of fonts, matching them with the ones they have in their database and thus figuring what fonts you have. Different operating systems tend to have different fonts, so it helps not only to display the content properly but also reveal your digital fingerprint.
The font masking is enabled by default. But if you want to disable it, you must do the following:

This identification method is not dangerous and is often used to determine localization settings, but it can also be used to detect differences between the api and the browser language. Then go to the “Advanced” tab and open the “Navigator" section.

Pay attention! Your language settings should match your region and your browser.
This line contains the user's preferred languages. Their priorities are expressed in terms of the value “q”. These values are arranged in order of preference. For example, if “q” is not specified for the language, then it will be equal to 1. These language settings show that I prefer English, and Polish comes second.
The languages are written in two formats. The main language code is “PL” and “EN" in our case.
In order to understand whether the site sees our profile correctly, it is necessary:
Save the settings using the “Save” button.
Launch the profile using the “Run” button.
