What is a User-Agent? Should it change frequently? Should I change the User-Agent myself?

User-Agent is a set of information about your setup that sites or services request from your browser. It consists of the information about the application, operating system, vendor, and/or version of the requesting user agent.

In contrary to the common beliefs, it should not change every time you create a new profile. Using multiple profiles with the same user agent will not result in bans. There are only so many combinations of the OS + browser version. Since we recommend using the same OS in the profile as your device OS and the latest browser version, Ideally, you always should have the same user agent.

Please do not change the User Agent manually!

We change lots of things every time you create a new browser profile, so every new profile will have a unique fingerprint without changing the user agent!

How do I change the browser version? How to update it?

You cannot change the browser version of the existing browser profile. You can only update it to the newest available version like so:

However, you can choose the browser version upon the profile creation, in the Advanced section of the menu:

Can I open 10 or more profiles at once?

We do not restrict the number of profiles you can open locally at your device. You can open as many profiles as the device can handle. It depends on how powerful your desktop is, the speed and latency of your network and a few other things.

Usually, our customers can open 10 or more profiles at once without any issues.

However, there are limitations on opening the profiles in Cloud at app.gologin.com.

You can learn more about the Cloud Launches here and check the limits here.

Do you have support for Firefox, Opera, Safari, other browsers?

We do not currently have other browsers apart from the Orbita, our custom browser, based on Chrome.

Should I set a different operating system in my browser profile?
